Veg Groups October Newsletter

Our mission is to help people go vegan and stay vegan. Every month we highlight the latest events going on in the U.S. and Canada, from MustLoveVeg.com, and provide updates on what we’re working on.

What’s new with Veg Groups? VegMovies.com!

We are working on a new site: VegMovies.com. By the end of 2017 it will be the largest directory of plant-based and vegan movies. It will help you find veg-friendly movies to watch or share, help you find movies that need help getting made, help you find movie screenings, and help you find news about current and future veg-friendly movies. Each movie will be categorized and easily searchable.

We have already been posting veg-friendly movie news weekly on the Veg Movies Facebook page and Twitter page. So come check us out. And look for the full website to be released by the end of 2017.

What’s new with Must Love Veg?

MustLoveVeg.com is a free national veg event calendar and social network in the United States. It is focused on helping people find events, meet people, and then make connections. More in our FAQ on why and how.

  • We reached 250 registered members!
  • We have over 3,300 upcoming events on the calendar from over 600 groups across the U.S. and Canada!
  • We are still adding events from groups in the U.K.
  • We’re working on allowing people outside of the U.S. to register for a free account, but it’ll take some time. You can still search for events near you, wherever you are, but you can’t login yet outside of the U.S.
  • Our Twitter account now has 450 followers.
  • Our Facebook page needs some love.

Spread the word

VegMovies.com: Please tell your fiends and co-workers about VegMovies.com. We’re trying to get the word out now so that people know about it once it’s released this year. And we’re already posting veg-friendly movie news weekly on the VegMovies.com Facebook page and Twitter page.

Must Love Veg: Please tell your friends about Must Love Veg, and even your enemies. We built a great resource and now people need to know about it. Click here to share Must Love Veg on Facebook. You can also find us on Facebook here. And we’re now on Twitter here!

Know a veg group? Let us know

Please contact us if you know of a Meetup group or Facebook page that hosts vegan or vegetarian events so that we can add them to Must Love Veg.

Want to help us categorize veg-friendly movies? Let us know

Please contact us if you want to help us categorize the list of veg-friendly movies that we are working on for VegMovies.com. We have a list of over 200 movies so far and we need help with assigning them the right categories and tags. Things like whether the movie is on Netflix streaming, whether it has graphic scenes, and whether it is fully vegan or not.
